ACT Now! for a Better World 2024 will start at Acomb Methodist Church with the keynote speech and the workshops. This will be followed by a soup and roll lunch at Acomb Parish Church Hall, just a 5 minute walk away. 

We are encouraging delegates to walk, cycle or use public transport and the venues are on the number 5A bus route from Strensall to Acomb via the city centre. It is also a thirty minute walk or fifteen minute cycle ride from York. Parking for cars at Acomb Methodist Church and Acomb Parish Church Hall is limited, so will only be available on the day as disabled parking. Therefore if this does not apply to you and you are coming by car, we encourage you to make use of the free council car park at Morrisons on Front Street, just a short walk from the venues. 

Both venues are accessible with level access and accessible toilets and our stewards will be available during the event should you require any assistance. Please contact us if you have any specific requirements.
